This is my friend Hannah. β
β Hannah is a civil engineer, native Portlander, bike enthusiast, friend, sister, daughter, wife, lover of music, literature, and art, and one of the biggest hearts I know. She is daring and always willing to try new things and go on new adventures. So, it's no wonder she jumped right on board when I invited her to join the Full Voice course this fall. Little did she know she would wind up reading scenes from a staged adaptation of πΏπΎππππ π²ππππ before the course was through!β
β Hannah joined Full Voice with an open mind and an open heart. What she thought might be a journey getting to know her singing voice turned out to be so much more than that.β
β As part of a dynamic group, she practiced deep listening and the power of silence, of pausing to reflect before speaking.β
β As part of her own self-growth, she found herself looking inward and getting more in touch with her inner voice.β
β She heard her own desire to step into her spoken voice, reading and embodying a character through acting.β
β And she followed that voice.β
β By the end of the course, Hannah realized just how dynamic her voice really is. β
β During our final meeting, as she described where her growth had taken her, she proclaimed,
"There is nothing I can't do with my voice."β
β THIS is the power of finding and standing up in your Full Voice. πͺπ₯β£οΈβ
